Memorable day in Linguistics Dept.:
A lot but the one that tops it all was the 2015/16 Reformation Era dinner and award night which to me, it's still the best planned dinner I've ever attended. The awardees were meritorious and despite the challenges, it was a success.
Describe Linguistics Dept and Students:
Linguistics as a discipline is an amazing course but very tasking as it is abstract and requires reading every now and then. On the part of the students, we've awe-inspiring, brilliant and modest guys here. For the whole lot that has virtues most possibly will have vice(s), the cons among the students which are visible to me are hate, greed and envy.
Shout Out:
My S/O to all students of the department most especially the new intakes.

My Experience in Unilorin Politics:
By virtue of grace, I've had the opportunity to be a part of student unionism within the varsity community and one major assessment I have is that students do not vote based on the potential of those vying for offices. Their mandate is principally based on amity, and religious affiliation.
Remark on the Sanza-led Administration:
In all sincerity, there is need to give tribute to this squad for the work done so far. They've without doubt been able to prove that they have things to offer. However, distancing themselves from past administrations and students means losing track of history which will one day; one way or the other come back to inflict an un-healing wound on the department and majorly students.
